Mr. Chris Nash
Begin Applying to Colleges Now! Many colleges/universities opened their fall application on July 1. Several of them have priority scholarship deadlines of December 1. You must apply for admission and be accepted before you may apply for scholarships. Several have housing application deadlines around the middle of October. Some colleges fill the housing slots based on when the college admission application was submitted.
Request for High School Transcript: Once you have submitted your application to the college(s), go by Mr. Nash’s office and write your request in the Transcript Requests binder.
FAFSA: Go to https://fafsa.ed.gov to complete your FAFSA application.(Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The FAFSA application opens on October 1. Even if you think you may not qualify to receive a grant through FAFSA, you must complete the FAFSA in order to receive any college scholarships you may be offered and to receive MTAG/MESG. You may also begin applying for MTAG/MESG on October 1 as well. Go to https://riseupms.com.
